Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt says he's "optimistic" a deal will be reached after Henry enters a crowded running back market. For now, Lendale White has the position to himself.</div>Go get him Jets...He's not that big, but he has the power we're looking for.
Letting Henry walk was a big mistake, IMO. Especially since our #1 WR from the past season is walking as well. Henry was a big reason for our success this past season. The biggest thing I think Reinfeldt was worried about was his current two strikes against the substance abuse policy. One more failed test and he's done for a year. Still, even with the $8.3 million bonus and his base salaries from his contract, his cap hit would've been under $4 million over the next 3 years...nothing that would kill us if he DID happen to get a third strike.I'm just not 100% sold on Lendale White just yet.
The Titans should at least bring in someone to split some carries with White. The RB market is getting pretty picked out though so it might have to wait until draft day, but I think another RB in the mid rounds wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
