The Chiefs are saying that he probably won't be ready in time for the Seattle game this week though. He still had to meet with the neurologist twice this week, but he should be back in the lineup in 2 weeks.
I hope he plays soon. I've had him on Fantasy IR the whole year hoping he'd come back. Would be nice to have him for the playoffs.
Huard has been playing extremely well, but Herm Edwards says that Green is still #1 as soon as he's healthy again.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I understand that Green is the number one guy in KC but I wouldn't yank Huard out of there when he's playing the way he is just because Green is back and healthy, IMO anyway. Glad to hear that Green is doing better and could be back in a few weeks though.
Herm Edwards might decide that he needs to look for the future of the franchise and start Huard for the rest of the year. All huard has to do is not break down before Green returns
Not a chance. Trent's return means that the Chiefs can suddenly use the other 2/3s of their playbook. Huard has done well standing in the gap, but he was just a placeholder. I would like to see a few leads late in games so that KC can determine whether or not Croyle is their future, With Herm Edwards ball, you don't get much junk time for developing a young QB. Maybe that's why Herm has always said he wasn't afraid to start a rookie.

He's hardly the "future" of any franchise. To that effect, do the Chiefs have a project on the roster? Some QB who's actually under the age of 30?
Brodie Croyle from Alabama. This year's 3rd rounder. We also had the Canadian League MVP Casey Printers, but he was cut in preseason. I am not sure, but we may have brought him back to the practice squad.

Which is too bad, because I'd like to see what he can do in the NFL, since I've only seen him play in the CFL.

I'm trying to enjoy not being the target for one of KC's old age cracks for once.
You set that one up so pretty, I just had to knock it out of the park. Congrats on 2 in a row for the Raiders, by the way.
