Shin Win Might Send Ochoa Out at No. 2 Lorena Ochoa plays her last "regular" round - her final pre-retirement round - on the LPGA Tour today at the Tres Marias Championship. But will she retire as the No. 1 player in women's golf? Jiyai Shin made that a bit trickier for Ochoa by winning earlier today on the Japan LPGA. Shin won the JLPGA CyberAgent Ladies tournament today (Mostly Harmless has the details), and Shin's victory is one of the scenarios under which Ochoa could end her career as an LPGA regular at No. 2 in the world rankings, rather than No. 1. If Ochoa finishes fourth or higher today in Mexico, she holds onto the No. 1 ranking. If Ochoa finishes fifth or lower, she drops to No. 2, with Shin the new No. 1. Entering the final round, Ochoa is in sixth place. http://golf.about.com/b/2010/05/02/shin-win-might-send-ochoa-out-at-no-2.htm
