The oft-talked about new 'Triangle of Authority' that the Vikings put in place during the offseason is being reduced to a straight line. Newly hired Vice President of Player Personel Fran Foley is being let go.

This raises some obvious questions - specifically, where will Ben Leber fit in? He was Foley's guy and was supposed to shore up the linebacking corps a little. What other guys were brought in because of Foley?

I never was impressed by Foley and thought that he was a mistake when they brought him in. I would like to see Scott Studwell, whose been the principle scout for the Vikings and head of the draft (until this past year when the Vikings reached on nearly every pick) finally get his due and step into this position. I think he has been around the Vikings long enough to know what he is doing and deserves his shot at the spot.

I don't believe it - they've known about those exaggerations for a while now. I think there was an argument during the draft day (which would explain some of the strange moves) and Foley lost the argument.
