14 March, 2016 13 American police officers have lost their lives in the line of duty this year. Here is a tribute to each one of them. SHARE this video to honor America's fallen police officers.
Now Rob the only body count that matters are those of criminals summarily executed by the police because of their skin color.
One "right" that many over look is the right to be protected. As Charlie Daniels sang, let t roll. For the extreme most part these officers protect, server, and go beyond the call.
Technically we have no right to be protected, nor does govt has an obligation to do so. LEO operate under a state of privileged status to serve as agents for the govt to administer laws. The only protection rights are those imparted by the 2nd Amendment regarding "self protection" and those imparted to Congress to raise armies for the purpose of safeguarding the Constitution, the Country and We the People. Moreover, we have no standing to outsource our rights to govt agents nor does govt have standing to usurp said rights. These are critical facts when talking about Law Enforcement, and any cop worth his salt can clearly discuss these concepts. When you come down to it, it basically means that police voluntarily put themselves at risk daily in order to put themselves between citizenry and harms way. Much as our honored veterans in an all volunteer military.
