According to FoxSports.com, the Dolphins signed Gibril Wilson to a contract on the eve of free agency. I have been waiting for another source to confirm the signing, but none have so far. Wilson was cut by the Raiders despite recording 129 tackles in his 1st season with the silver and black. If its true, its a nice signing for an up and coming defense as Wilson is just 27, hes a physical presence on the field, and he has championship experience after starting at safety for the 2007 Giants team that beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl....

This is now confirmed by several major sources. I am still looking for all the details, but it appears to be a 5 year deal in the neighborhood of $25-$30mil....

DAMN. Wilson's a good player, the fact that Al Davis canned him doesn't mean shit. Dolphins just keep looking better.

Miami will be interesting this year, they are putting together a solid team, they have a tough schedule this year IIRC.
