<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With the deadline to declare for the NBA draft swiftly approaching, it appears Florida sophomores Corey Brewer, Al Horford and Joakim Noah are no closer to leaving for the pros now than the night they announced they intended to return for their junior seasons. The three took in the Florida spring football game from the sidelines and worked out with Florida coach Billy Donovan over the weekend. Donovan won't be able to breathe a sigh of relief until Saturday's deadline, but feels confident that all three will stick to the promise they made to fans during Florida's national championship celebration April 8. "It hasn't come up in any conversations we've had," Donovan said. Three more underclassmen declared for the NBA draft Tuesday. Connecticut junior point guard Marcus Williams, Saint Louis junior center Ian Vouyoukas and Texas sophomore guard Daniel Gibson all announced their intentions to enter the draft. Vouyoukas and Gibson didn't hire agents, leaving the door open for a return to school. ESPN.com basketball insider Chad Ford ranked the 6-foot-11 Noah as the top overall pick and the 6-9 Horford as the ninth overall pick in NBA mock draft projections. But one NBA scout, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the 227-pound Noah could use another year in college to get stronger. "He has a unique skill package that's really intriguing to NBA teams," the scout said. "He has a great feel for the game and you see he loves it. It's just a matter of his upper body (strength)."</div> Source
I think that in the NBA, Horford could pan out to be a better player just my opinion though. Horford reminds me of Elton Brand.
