President also gives Priebus access to sensitive meetings while partially excluding defense chiefs and requesting strategies to defeat Isis

President Donald Trump granted controversial adviser Steve Bannon a regular seat at meetings of the National Security Council on Saturday, in a presidential memorandum that brought the former Breitbart publisher into some of the most sensitive meetings at the highest levels of government.

The president named Bannon to the council in a reorganization of the NSC. He also said his chief-of-staff Reince Priebus would have a seat in the meetings.

Trump also said the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and the director of national intelligence, two of the most senior defense chiefs, will attend meetings only when discussions are related to their “responsibilities and expertise”. Barack Obama and George W Bush both gave the men in those roles regular seats on the council.

This is a fun follow. I doubt very much if it's legit, but if Preibus suddenly resigns I might change my mind. But somebody's having fun:

Wonder how many people he'll shoot hunting?

At least it will be on purpose. Truth matters.

Body-shaming is bad and I do not condone it. But maybe if we can make them feel any shame at all, we'll all be better off.

This is the first truly terrifying move that he has made, imo.

    Unprecedented.

I don't see how anyone can defend this action.

From the comment section of the video: "If you hear this song at a real circus, it's because this music is played when something goes wrong and they want to let the circus workers know without alarming the circus goers that there is potential danger. Over the years, there have been many circus workers who accidentally died during a show right in front of an audience that never knew it because the workers were cued to deal with it out of the audience view by this music. Ever see a clown or acrobat get "comically" dragged off stage after a stunt? They were probably in need of real medical attention but the show must go on."

EDIT: I strongly advise people to slow this down or speed it up when you listen.

I didn't vote for Trump. I didn't vote for Hillary.

The funny/sad thing that I'm encountering right now is people completely delusional about what Trump is going to do. I thought most of the people who voted for Hillary weren't super excited about what she brought to the table. Some were worked up about having a woman president, but I didn't hear half the completely ridiculous bullshit that I'm hearing about Trump. They voted for her because she was the Democrat and they felt that she was the lesser of two evils.

That's not the case with Trump. A lot of people have bought in to his bullshit in a big way. They have created some kind of imaginary friend who will stand up for them and take no guff and make all their dreams come true. And in the meantime, they are ignoring all the warning signs and scary things that he's doing. It's really sad. And to make matters worse, I see a lot of people who are actually taking pleasure in the suffering of others. They're enjoying it. That's truly fucked up. Some of these people need to take a serious look in the fucking mirror. If you are taking pleasure in the misery of other people, you are a bad person.

The man is self serving... and beyond that, he has surrounded himself with truly terrifying people. If Obama had gotten rid of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs in his first week of office, Republicans would have FREAKED THE FUCK OUT. The fact that they're dismissing this as no big deal really says how completely delusional they have become.
