https://thinkprogress.org/trump-unionized-workers-9bd4ee89346d Republican's are in loves with trying to weaken unions, essentially weakening the middle class. How you could be a middle class american and vote for Trump is beyond me.
What gets me is that the republican lawmakers aren't the billionaires their policy is designed to benefit... like do they also think they're just inconvenienced billionaires like the people voting for them?
If you're pursuing the cynical perspective--no, they don't think they're put-upon billionaries, themselves. They simply want the put-upon billionaires to donate huge quantities of money to their Super PACs. In general, it's a lot easier to fundraise if your constituents are extremely rich, rather than poor or middle class.
I'm actually kind of worried about this since my Unions contract is up next august and a big thing on the table will be how to compensate employees that have worked for a long time with the company while the minimum wages increase drastically. If Trump is still in office the threat of a strike wont carry as much weight since i think trump could easily be convinced to strike the strike down.
My Teamster ran pension is doing great. Its a well funded plan. One of the best in the US of its kind. My 401K through Prudential is doing good I guess. I contribute 3% right now, which is about $15,000 a year.
20 percent....that'll help with out of pocket medical expenses down the road...they're probably going up more than 20% and then as long as you don't need a nuclear fallout shelter from N Korean missle attacks....you should be fine
DOW is at 22,000. Back in March, it was 21,000. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/do...econd-fastest-milestone-in-history-2017-03-01 http://www.marketwatch.com/story/dow-flirts-with-a-fresh-milestone-22000-2017-07-31
That's a pretty amazing technology advance in such a short time. WOW We should probably just give up if they're that smart.
