It was unconstitutional and morally wrong. You cannot restrict a Constitutional Right based on the fact that a person receives SSDI. There was also no mandate for an appeals process, and no Due Process for the Defendant in a court of law.
Title is ridiculous, as this voided 2nd Amendment rights for anyone on SSI who used a tax preparer for instance. Had nothing to do with mental illness, just a dictator's completely unConstitutional gun-grab, nothing more.

Enforce the current laws, which means replacing most of the management of the FBI and prosecuting professionals for not reporting mentally ill people to the National Background Check System as already required by law. We have the laws, over 2 million of them, but Obama set an example that government officials do not have to enforce them if they don't want to. The FBI deliberately allowed the Florida murders to proceed for political purposes, so first we have to purge the deep state's soldiers. Then, a little modern world common sense (an armed guard at every school) takes care of the rest.
