(Reuters) - The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters. The program is, "a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies". So while killing is obviously a violent act, I assume, the program includes everything from rape, physical attacks, kidnapping, murder to mass murder.
The CVE program is about prevent violent extremists and their supporters from radicalizing, recruiting, or inspiring individuals or groups in the United States and abroad to commit acts of violence. So killing isn't the only thing this program is centered around if that's what you're eluding too in your initial question about protesters. So, again, I wish the CVE program would do better work and focus on the domestic "democratic" terrorists causing violence in the cities they protest.
Yes, the greatest threat to America. Forget about ISIS, this should be the focus... We will never forget the day that the democratic terrorists made somebody late getting home.
