It's still going to be impossible to dump his contract for another year or two, but the Giants don't really need him to be more than a fourth starter (behind Lincecum, Cain, and Sanchez).
if he can get his era below 4 next year i will be estatic. we are stuck with him for sure, but if he can be average at least, it would make me feel alot better about it. just thinking about all the other players we could have spent the money on....
