No doubt, I was just thinking about how the Yanks really did catch a bad break with this kid coming up with "arm" problems after he showed how fabulous he could be when he first began prior to the injury problems. Not their fault, and not his fault - it's unfortunate, let's hope he stays strong and healthy and at least comes close to what he was.
1-2-3 nice. Tank's inside pitch has quit a bit of movement on it. 1-2 to Altuve, being set up outside, pitch #4 looked like it was going down the heart of the plate, only to break up and in......wtf- is he throwing, a rh screw ball without pro-nating his elbow... pitch...? I'll take it...
The kid Johnny Barbato made the team...just 23 yrs old and his profile has been high K rate and gives up fewer hits per IP. It'll be interesting keeping an eye on him. Could be a newfound gem helping to fill in the innings before the big three. (Chap, Miller,Betances)
Not a big turn out so far but hell.........................................................................................................................I'm happy.
I forgot about Drew the moment they acquired Castro. .281 career hitter with double digit HR power. The question that needs to be answered is his defense as he learns a new position. By all accounts I've read and heard, he kept his chin up and worked hard when he was removed from his SS job (Cubs). Have a feeling he's going to love playing for the Yanks and likewise.
