The UFC has announced a new international version of The Ultimate Fighter called TUF Nations. The first iteration of the new show format will feature Australian and Canadian fighters. The UFC has selected Kyle Noke and Patrick Côté, both 33, to compete as coaches.

Noke was first introduced to UFC fans as a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz in 2011. Noke was defeated on the show by Kris McCray but has gone on to a mostly successful UFC career (3-2). Côté is a 14-fight UFC veteran who debuted in 2004 as a late replacement to fight Tito Ortiz (above his weight class at 205lbs). Côté reached the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: The Comeback in 2006 but was submitted by Travis Lutter in the Finale. Côté's been cut from the UFC twice but always manages to string together wins and earn his way back. Outside of the UFC Côté is 13-0.

TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia is expected to hold tryouts for the show later this year and air on international television in early 2014.
