Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki crossing home plate one after another was a welcome sight for a Colorado Rockies team that is gradually regaining its health and perhaps its form after a rash of injuries in the first half of the season.

Jorge De La Rosa pitched six strong innings, Tulowitzki and Drew Stubbs each hit two-run homers, and the Rockies beat the Minnesota Twins 6-2 on Friday night in the teams' first interleague meeting at Coors Field in six years.
