Biggest surprise to me is Armstead being #1 over Heimuli. Not because Arik isn't a beast, but because I've heard that Heimuli was having his best camp at Oregon.

Which tells me that Armstead is a flat-out beast, and with Hart is going to demand double teams.

What about Tyner? Thought he was a beast RB?

He's been injured with something to do with his ankle. But the boot is reported to be off so maybe he's listed next week. Then again, with DAT and Marshall on the team, he may be the third option this year... those guys are pretty beastly as well

Any news on Prevot? This kid is an interesting mystery to me. De commits for USC two days before signing day and comes to Oregon, now ready to rock as a true freshman. I'm stoked to see what this kid can do.

    Today's Report:

I was also very impressed with the defensive effort during pass-rush drills. The defensive linemen really seemed to get the better of things in nearly every one-on-one matchup, with DeForest Buckner and Torrodney Prevot looking particularly effective.

I'm hearing Tyner now knows what it's like to play real football and he's adjusting to D1 talent. The question will be how he responds? When you're not used to being hit, it can shock you. He's got all the speed, now we'll have to see if he can handle getting banged on weekly.

Not a whole lot of seniors. We have several more good years ahead of us.
