Sorry I have not been as faithful as of late. Part of the problem is that Kansas City isn't exactly doing much that is newsworthy this off-season so far. As for the other reason, my wife gave birth to our first child Tuesday, April 18th at 9:35pm. Samantha Grace was 9 lbs and 7 ozs and 20 inches long. I just wanted to leave an announcement, as I have been posting with some of you guys for a long time now. Hopefully, I will be back in full force as soon as we learn how to manage this new sleeping schedule. (Man, it's hard to type with a baby in one arm). I also talked to a guy on IM today who was in a fantasy football league with me a couple of years ago who is a Chiefs and Royals fan. I dropped him an invite and I wanted to leave him a note of welcome in case he shows up before I return. I hope everyone is pleased with their teams drafting prowess (except for non KC fans) Sorry to have missed out on the mock draft too, but as I stated above, I've been a little busy. Peace.
You should raise her a panther fan, because Panthers will be the next dynasty. Good luck with your new baby
Holy Cow! How did I miss this thread??? I spoke with KC, last night, and I think he's still working out the time management aspects of being a new daddy. Between work, church work and squalling baby girl, his hands are fuller than Matt Leinart's during Paris Hilton's last shoe shopping spree. I usually talk to him, at least, once a week, so I keep hounding him to get over here and put his two cents in once in awhile.
I don't know how I missed this thread either - congrats on the new baby! My wife and I are expecting in mid-June, so I'll be joining that sleep deprived club very soon!

All is going extremely well. Mom and baby are healthy and at least 3-4 times a day, I try to prompt the baby to say, "Go Chiefs!" (Trying to raise her right). I was reading this thread while holding her, but I just put her down for a nap and wanted to take a few minutes and catch up on my forum reading. Thanks for all the well wishes. I just want to know when Steelerfan is planning on taking the leap?
Don't even go there man, how about we enjoy your new lack of sleep first!?! Congrats man, I'm at least another year or two away.... no hurry!
