Sports: "There is talk that Minnesota has offered Washington a swap of the Nos. 2 and 6 picks in a package that includes McGee, but that appears unlikely unless the Timberwolves part with more assets." So as the draft approaches in a week, there's still no strong indication Minnesota or Washington will make a deal. --- UPDATE No. 2: If Washington wants to move up into the No. 2 spot, it may take JaVale McGee.

I mean, I could see if you were going to do this to gamble that CLE was taking someone besides Irving or REALLY liked Knight and didn't want him to go to Utah, but WAS is set at PG. This has the feel of either a chess move, or a stupid checkers one.
