<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It's thus fair to ask if one season of the good Spree and Sam was worth what the Wolves, a hard-to-believe ninth in the West, are going through now. It's also inevitable that the job security of Saunders and McHale will be questioned, because Flip has been there for nine-plus seasons (an eternity in the current coaching environment) and because McHale (after more disappointments than successes) is not going to have an easy time retooling an over-the-cap team when Sprewell and Cassell have such limited trade value. If they can't trade Spree before the Feb. 24 -- and they've tried repeatedly, sources report -- McHale and Taylor could opt to just let him walk in free agency with his contract (which pays $14.6 million this season) about to expire.</div> Source

but it's pretty been cleared by taylor that he aint doing a trade...i think we could even let him go without getting nothin....he just sucks! so he has a playoff experience-bul! with him keeping getting minuts were in risk of not even getting an 8th seed....let the cancer out...

If the wolves don't sign spree at all next year, how much $$$ will they have to spend?

See cause we are over the salary cap its not like we get all of spree 14.6 million dollars to spend on other players in the off season....so while tayolr wont make a deal unless it helps us...it might be wise to get ANYTHING FOR SPREE instead of nothing. unless i am wrong and we do get 14 6 to spend in the off season then i would say hold on to him until summer and then show him the door and use the money to make a run at michel reed...or someone like that

Even without Sprewell, we're likely to be over the Cap. We've a 46 million payroll for 2005/2006 already but that's without Hudson (hoopshype doesn't have listed him for next season but I'm sure we signed him to an extension), Madsen and Griffin, so we need to replace or sign those two at least.

Wally's and KG's contracts are killers, both together make over half of the salary cap and compared to San Antonio our players are way overpaid.

Glen Taylor should give Latrell a huge paycheck and tell him to get lost.

He is poisoning the locker room as the season progresses.

    We don't need him.
