What does everyone think about T law? Is he being an ass or belichick and pioli?
Just curious what everyone else thinks about the situation and his classless comment bringing belichicks family into it.

Regardless of whether he is right or not, there are classy ways to handle things and then there are his way of handling things.

I am sure from the business side of things, you have to tell people something different than what actually happens. He very well could have been screwed. I'm not sure how handling it this way really helps him.

I hear ya cowboy. I kind of think he just relizes he is getting old and if he waits till next season to hit the free agency it won't be the spending frenzy we have seen this off-season so he is just gonna flap his gums and make things out to be what they aren't or worse than they are till we cut him or let him find a team that wants him and gives him a champ bailey deal.

He's got two rings now and the greed is starting to show.... the bigger than the team attitude is starting to come out. Honestly I know it will hurt us but if he keeps this up I don't want him. He has been part of something great why ruin that now. I guess his legacy doesn't matter to him because if it did this wouldn't be a problem. He would want to be part of team that could become a dynasty and deal with the 1.4 mil less he'd make over the next two seasons in an extention we offered with more GUARANTEED money. He would want to have that legacy in new england like Bird....Orr.....Williams but he is just an ignorant fool who can't see the big picture. I don't want to see some sad TO deal though for a second round pick the only deal I could agree with is if we can package him in a trade that will land us a pick in the top 5 to grab sean taylor. Then I wouldn't feel so bad about losing possibly the best big game corner in the league.

Its all about the money. His stock is high right now and he knows he can get a huge deal some where else if Belichick cuts him. If he gets cut next year his value might not be nearly as high. A year older and probably wont have a season as good as this past one.

not about money. He has 20 million left on the contract and the pats would be mush worse without him so i have a feeling the ultimate team isnt as closely knit as it use to be

What do you mean not about the money??? yeah he has 17 mil not 20 and he thinks he will only see 7 of it. Thats why he wants out. We tried to extend it but he thinks at 31 he should get some champ bailey deal and we all know he won't because that would be counter productive. We aren't stupid like the rest of the NFL just throwing money around. The pats said they would honor the final two years of his contract regardless of the high cap numbers which never happens in New England but he doesn't care cause his window for a big payday is closing.

As for you beef I would expect nothing less than a jab. As for our shit stinking we'll see next season because keeping Wanny will prove to be the biggest mistake of this offseason. The guy is an absolute tool box.

I Cant stand what Ty Law is doing. He just got a blockbuster deal a few years ago, and now he wants another. I hate when players just dont play out their contracts. TO situation was different, he did have voidable years in his contract. I think Ty Lay is being a baby, and should just SHUT the FUCK UP. Patriots should do nothing, and just let him keep talking. There is no way in hell he will get a contract that is nowhere near what his contract is now.

Awwww....did someone fuck up your utopian locker room??? poor babies, big bad beef suggested your shit stinks and your offended....ill try not to be so blunt with the truth for you from now on, I know how these easy times have made you jumpy....I can understand with all the winning you had to suffer through, thats why your on edge....my suggest is that you take a valium to calm your nerves and hold you breath while you crap, that way you never have to know that your shit does actually stink....

Well when I make a post I just assume bearsfan is going to disagree with it. You are just plain stupid if you think its not about the money. Think about it for a little while and maybe you can redeem yourself.

If there is any phins fan that is a closet pats fan, it would be me.

I, personally, consider & would rather have New England as Miami's chief divisional rival than the other 2 franchises.

If fans of any team have an unnaturally naive attitude or even look at things through rose colored glasses then its the Rams fan on that other site.

As for Ty Law, He burned any & all bridges on the Sunday conversation (on ESPN) last night.

    So, back to the subject....

Let's assume that this situation already is...or will be... Owen-esque. Ty doesn't want to play for the Pats. Does that mean they cut him June 1 or trade him? If he does indeed go somewhere else....where?

I would say who knows what belichick and pioli will do but if we got a first for bledsoe I would assume they will try to do the same. I know they won't cut him cus that would just be stupid. I think they will try to let this blow over since noone from the organization will even comment on it and keep him for one more year then he is gone.
