6-1, 190SophomoreBoston College17.2 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 5.5 APG, 1.2 SPG, 47% FG, 32% 3FGThe 19-year-old Rice has done a fantastic job in his 2nd season. Al Skinner has really done a great job helping him develop into a very solid guard for the because Eagles. He's that typical really great combo college point guard. I think he has really great potential, he's not talked about a lot in draft prospect but he has a lot of talent. If he learns more on managing an offense, which he has already done a lot of work on, I think he can make it to the big time.

We already have a thread on this guy, I've not yet watched Boston College this season so I don't know a whole lot about him.

Ty came up huge today, he was awesome. As far as an NBA prospect, I'm unsure right now. With another year or two under Al Skinner, learning how to become more of a true point guard, he could end up being a serviceable guard off the bench. He's extremely quick, he's an excellent scorer off penetration, and he's a very solid defender.

As of right now, he's Marcus Banks with a better jump shot, but with time and work he could become solid.

Banks couldn't hit the ocean while standing on the beach when he first got to Boston. I think Rice has a decent jumper. All other parts of his game do compare to Banks though.

He's got skill, no doubt about that. As far as being a great prospect it'll come from what he does in his next few years. He's headed in the right direction no doubt about that. It's amazing that he's still a great scorer even on a team with Dudley and Marshall. We would have heard about him even sooner if Louis Hinnant hadn't been around.

Oh yeah, no question about it. If you leave Ty open from deep, chances are he WILL nail it. He is a very solid shooter.
