I don't think he's dumb, I seriously think there is something wrong with him. People are quick to judge him, but he's mentally ill. He needs help, and he won't get it. He needs a full mental evaluation, which he doesn't get.

Honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't blown his head off yet.

My old friend does cocaine now, and his life is screwed up.
Damn, I will never touch sh*t like this. The deepest stuff that I have tried and I will try is weed. Weed is the limit for me.

BTW: He's in jail now or he payed his money to get out ? How large amount of cash he had to give out I wonder. I'm surprised that he isn't drinked himself poor yet. That happens often to retired athletes.

    Cocaine:
    1) Isn't fun to do
    2) Isn't nearly as addicting as people like to make it out to be
    3) Is overpriced
    4) Is horrible for your heart

In summation, cocaine sucks and so do the people who have run that Chappelle sketch into the ground. [IMG]

Well your friend is exaggerating, either that or doesn't know what addiction is.
It's not possible to be addicted to something the first time you try it. It is not.

Yeah, the first time I did coke I wanted to do more and spent a lot of money too. That's normal. That's not addiction.

    Craving is not addiction.
Cocaine withdrawal has no physical symptoms.
Cocaine's half-life is so short that it is difficult to become addicted.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I used to mess around with coke in middle school until I ran out of money for it. I didn't experience practically any withdrawl effects though, just the psychological pain of not being able to get any more. Now heroin, there's a drug that's addicting, because you depend on it to just feel normal after time. You have to take more and more to just feel fixed, and you don't even get the high anymore. If you don't take it, you feel like you've got a really bad cold and start to have really severe physical withdrawl effects. If anyone out there is struggling with that right now (which I think some of you might be, because knowing myself, it makes you want to drop out of society and become all reclusive, staying on the internet on sites like JBB), then I strongly recommend subutex. That drug truly saved my life. It made it so that my cravings just became mental and were no longer physical.

I agree with your points except 1, although I will give you that it is less fun than most other recreational drugs. The price is ridiculous, the only time I have ever bought it I spent 90 bucks and my friend said that was a good deal. Never again doing that though.

And of course that Chappelle sketch is run into the ground, but I'M RICK JAMES BITCH!!!!!!LOL1111

I wonder what possess people to do any drug.

Why would you want to risk your life over that.

Because it feels really, really damn good. Hedonistic? Perhaps, but you can't knock it until you try it.

It's not really risking your life. Taking large amounts of one drug at a time is, but smart recreational use can be alright. It's hard to understand if you have never done a drug... but like VC said, it's hard to give a counterpoint to something that makes you feel so incredibly good. For alot of people, the slight chances (which you have with many many things in life) for addiction and for possible health problems in the future just don't compare to being able to feel amazing and enjoy your time.

I just withdrew cold turkey from oxycodone after being on it for a year. It was rough ****. I was on it for a back injury.

I wasn't psychologically addicted-- just physically addicted-- and the physical withdrawal symptoms were horrible. I hated the stuff.

You should post more about your experience. Maybe in the Magic Lounge. I could discuss mine too. I'm quite interested.

Why do people drink alcohol or take Prozac, hell why do people even drink coffee every morning? Its all drugs, people take them to make life easier whether it be just to feel good and party, to get energy, to help their depression, etc. Recreational drugs aren't dangerous if you use them in moderation like you would with a drug your doctor gives you.
