That would be a bad move by Phil Martelli at this point. Mardy Collins if he is cut would be a huge mistake because he will cause worlds of trouble against the international teams being he is 6'6". I would say Shannon Brown shouldn't have been cut but after looking at the wing players they have, it didn't look good for him from the start.
It's not looking like Rajon Rondo is going to make the team with Washington being the favorite and Marcus Williams likely being the #2 guy. I'd be stoked if Rondo did somehow make the team though. Now the cut of Shannon Brown totally shocked me. Brown could have provided them a versatile player that can play the 3 spot, 2 guard, and point guard. But I guess Rudy Gay will play at the 3 and Redick will play the 2.
Can't believe why he'd cut Collins, the guy is an awesome defender and can play multiple positions. You can't tell me he doesn't fit somewhere, on the bench if nothing else...
