UCLA offensive lineman Jeff Baca had surgery Thursday night to repair a broken left ankle and will be out indefinitely, the school announced in a statement Friday morning. Baca, who will be a junior next season, was injured Thursday during the second day of spring practice when a teammate rolled on to his ankle. He was carted off the field and taken for X-rays.
