I also wonder how ticket sales will be for an event in Detroit, I have this image of a city with a lot of decommissioned factories and unemployed people, but it is close to ontario so maybe it will draw a lot of Canadians crossing the border to watch it? the exchange rate is good nowadays.

I always say I'm not going to order the fights (121 I didn't, bummed them off a friend)...but this one just doesn't seem exciting. Machida has the skills to make this a very boring fight because Rampage will probably be too slow. If Rampage would utilize his wrestling more, he could have an advantage. No interest in Penn/Hughes III. Can't stand Karo Parisyan and Mark Munoz looked like horse shit in his last fight. For an "elite" wrestler...he sure as hell looked like shit.
Re: UFC 123: Rampage vs. Machida (Nov. 20th) Davis, Harris, and Sotiropolous are all on the up and up. Happy to see them fight. Hughes/Penn isn't really that important but it will still be compelling once the bell rings. Machida/Jackson is intriguing because you know Page is going to go after him after seeing Shogun have success doing that. The other fights are pretty ordinary.
