RVCA (Fedor's sponsor) and Clinch Gear (Hendo's) have been banned from the UFC.

How fucking pathetic is this move? He's taking money away from his fighters who get paid to wear these logos. WTF is BJ going to wear? BJ with no RVCA shorts? Lame.

    Petty, Dana...very petty.

I thought Hendo re-upped. It's pretty lame but I doubt it has to do with those brands sponsoring those fighters, they probably just refused to pay some ridiculous fee the UFC wanted them to pay.

You don't think its a coincidence?

BJ's been wearing RVCA for awhile now. As soon as Fedor walks out with RVCA across his chest against the UFC's main competition, they're banned from the UFC?

Hendo's Clinch Gear has been in the UFC for a while, too, and as soon as he's about to sign with Strikeforce, Clinch Gear is banned from the UFC?

We saw the same shit with Affliction when they started their own promotion.

It's most definitely not a coincidence. Things don't go well with Hendo, they decide to cut off his company as a bargaining chip.

The biggest thing out of all of this is, I wonder if it is a big deal to BJ (which if it is, he'll let it be known on his website or whatever way he chooses), how BJ will react to this.

I could see it as a low-blow, but you could also see that like any company the UFC can choose which businesses to deal with as it pleases.

On the other hand, there is no way that it would make sense for the UFC not to ban Affliction.

It would be like McDonalds having Burger King posters all over it's interior, on it's French Fries, etc.

BJ can come out wearing a diaper for all I care, screw that guy.

Anyway this is nothing new. There are dozens of these brands. If they want to get advertising with the UFC they have to follow the UFC's lead. Same can be said for pretty much every pro league.

something tells me BJ will have not problem getting a contact with another clothing company and it should be a pretty good deal too.

I think even with the ban, BJ could still be sponsored by RVCA just not wear their products out. I think when Affliction was banned all the UFC fighters were still with them they just didn't wear there stuff on fight night.

BJ's shorts were so pretty damn cool, though.
