    The fight will be Frank Mir's 27th in the UFC, tied with Tito Ortiz for most ever.

    If not for his motorcycle accident that kept him out in 2005, Mir would have a fight in the UFC every year from 2001 until now.

    Despite losing five-of-seven, Mir has two first round knockout wins in his last three fights.

    Mir has the most fights, wins, and finishes in UFC heavyweight history. He has the second most finishes and fourth most victories overall.

    He's only 36 and is two years younger than Fabricio Werdum.

    Fight over. Lombard gassed hard in the second round. Referee Steve Percival was very generous allowing it to get to the third.

    I managed to catch the last two fights.

    Hector Lombard, who has apparently never been stopped in over 40 fights, caught Magny behind the ear early and pushed for a finish. Magny toughed it out and Lombard gassed pretty hard. In the second round Magny turned the tables and had back mount on Lombard for like two minutes reigning blows but the referee gave Lombo the same leniency he gave Magny. Third round Lombard had nothing left and the ref stopped it when Magny had Lombo in a mounted triangle and was landing punches, opening Lombard up. Is this Lombard looking rusty from the suspension or Lombo looking deflated from drug testing? Either way he now seems miles from the title picture.

    Hunto/Mir was pretty uneventful. As you can see above Mir is not in fighting shape. Far cry from the jacked up Mir that fought Brock Lesnar. Hunt landed a pretty casual right hand that clipped Mir behind the ear. Mir went down and I'm still a little unsure of how badly hurt he was but he was motionless and the referee determined his will to fight was sapped. In any case Hunt's unlikely success in the UFC continues. Good for him.

    Mir needs to hang them up. He was in bar stool shape...wtf was that? Hunto with the awesome walk off KO. That reaction right after is going to make a great .gif

    I'm so glad Lombard lost. Magny was very impressive tonight.

    I'm glad that Brazilian lost, too. Carlos Junior...it was just awesome to see Kelly rally back from that first.

    Steve Bosse may have ended Te Huna's UFC career. That was an AMAZING KO.
