The violence is sometimes pretty serious and I don't begrudge anyone who says it's too much for them. MMA can be brutal. Boxing and pro wrestling also promote their sport using shirtless images of their athletes. I suppose it's having men entangled in such a fashion that makes Davis feel things he's never felt before, or that he's spent a lifetime denying and suppressing. As you might expect, Davis is being absolutely bombarded.
