So Bernie Bickerstaff had this to say in his NBA.Com blog after the latest clipper trade:

"With the two free agent signings and the trade announced today, we've done everything we set out to do in terms of our first roster and we picked up two future first round draft picks from the Expansion Selection"

Done everything they set out to do? really? The bobcats have not even made an offer to any free agent not picked already in the expansion draft, despite having more cap room (18 million) than anyone but the hawks. Several journalists have writen that the bobcats are "saveing money" but for what? With players like stromile swift and jamal crawford availible and better than anyone currently on our roster, the bobcats appear to to be content to stand pat and start a summer league team next year. i know its only year one, but with the lower expansion team salary cap in place, it is not as though any money not spent this year helps us at all next year.....

reassure me that Bob Johnson isn't getting cheap already.
