They could have pulled the pink off with white uniforms however it would have wrecked the black out in Autzen!
Now that we are all fully aware of breast cancer and cancer in general, for that matter...can we get on with football and regular uniforms and move beyond "cancer awareness".
Except that they're also auctioning off a bunch of the helmets and expect to raise north of $75K for cancer research, so...
Check it out . . I like it. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf...breast-cancer-awareness-145213284--ncaaf.html
Sweet. $75,000 will pay Bontrager's salary for three weeks and he's just one of many executives. Google "cancer research fraud". I agree in theory with the premise...disagree greatly in practice. And yes, I have lost a family member to cancer. The "war on cancer" and "cancer awareness" (yup, we are all aware) is one of humanities epic failures. Simply look at cancer rates through the generations. *Rant over
They should wear fake breasts with them too....and put a little skirt around their waist. Then it would look like a powder puff team is kicking ass.
My biggest problem with it is that I don't care for Susan G Komen at all. That organization is dirty as fuck.
I'm really starting to respect the contributors of this board more and more... http://www.naturalnews.com/036711_Komen_for_the_Cure_mammography_fraud.html
I just think it's disgusting that they file lawsuits against other organizations for using "for the cure" and for using pink. They're supposed to be an organization that is dedicated to saving lives, but instead they're worried about the bottom line. I heard the CEO makes 700k per year. Fuck them.
