Hey guys.
We're going to send out an e-mail to all the nfl-forums.com members shortly (later today) explaining what's gone on.
The short story is that nfl-forums.com is now a community within the SportsTwo site. It's basically the same community you always had, but you now have the benefit of better software and a committment that we're going to customize the software to suit your needs. We welcome you guys to continue posting as you always have, but we also encourage your feedback and ideas for new features.
This fall, we're going to set up fantasy football and some other games and contests that should be a lot of fun. Can't wait for the season to start in general (I'm a Bears fan, boo Grossman!). Check out our trivia game and sportsbook (SportsTwo pulldown menu) to get an idea of what kind of things we can do with our software. That's just scratching the surface, too!
The editor is WYSIWYG. Unlike typing into a plain textarea on many message boards, here you edit using an interface that's more like a word processor. When you hit "enter" you are really starting a new paragraph. Hench it appears double spaced. If you want a hard line break, hit ctrl-enter instead. If you think about it, when you hit enter most of the time, you have to hit it twice to start a new paragraph...
I can go and fix up all your signatures if you like, but I figured I'd give you the chance to review yours and adjust it as appropriate. The URL for your signature banner images and so on are there to help you out. The signatures contain bbcode, and this site doesn't really do bbcode since there's no need for it with the WYSIWYG editor.
You can edit your settings from the pulldown menu upper right (your user name) of the page. This includes uploading an avatar of your choice, editing your signature, your user title, and so on.
If you're interested in being a moderator for football or even for other parts of the SportsTwo site, send a PM to Petey (he runs our moderator program).
I'd really like to welcome you all to SportsTwo and I encourage you to at least poke around and see if it's worth your while. I hope you do find it to be.
Anything I can help you guys out with, let me know (send a PM). You'll find we're all committed to excellence and particularly quality service and experience.
Cheers!

The Sandbox (SportsTwo pulldown) is a forum just for practicing on the various features of the site. Wonder what our blogs are and how they work? Try making one there. We also let you make WWW pages, again you can try making one there.

Wow this is going to take some time getting used too. For a sec I thought I clicked the wrong bookmark.
