With the NBA trade deadline looming in less than 24 hours on Thursday at 3 p.m., there seemed to be two different approaches to the uncertainty among Sixers players. In Jahlil Okafor's case, he claimed to be not thinking about the deadline at all. "Honestly, I haven't," Okafor responded. "I can't really control what's going to happen." Nerlens Noel, on the other hand, believes the deadline is on all of his teammates' minds. "Everybody's thinking about it," said Noel. "Why not? It is what it is, it's a part of the business. We'll see what happens the day after." Nobody knows exactly what to expect from the Sixers at this season's deadline. The possibility always exists an offer is made for Okafor or Noel that simply cannot be refused, especially given they still appear to be two pieces that may not fit together. There could be more minor moves as well, or no trades at all. Regardless of what does or does not happen, head coach Brett Brown had a simple message for his team at Wednesday's practice, maybe the final time everybody would be assembled together. "Play," Brown answered. "You just play. "This is my 15th year doing this, and you just come out and have a great practice, and whatever will be will be. They have to back themselves, they have to not live afraid. You just play. You back yourself. You put in a good day's work. We believe they will add up." Will those "good days' work" add up to Okafor and Noel, the Sixers' two biggest trade chips, both staying put? In what could have been a bit of foreshadowing, Brown spoke as if both would remain on the roster, adding the two-thirds of a season the big men have spent together isn't enough time to assess whether they can coexist. - See more at: http://www.csnphilly.com/basketball...ainty-looms-young-sixers-trade-deadline-nears
