WOW, Unlimited Flights- $599 http://jetblue.com/deals/all-you-can-jet/?intcmp=HPHero1Eng_All-You-Can-JetPass From Sept. 8th to Oct. 8th. Think its worth it? fuck, if I had more vacation days I'd consider a bunch of one-day trips around the US. I think Jet Blue flys out of LAX now too.
Interesting deal. They do fly to a few island destinations also - Bermuda, Aruba, Barbados, ... barfo
A good point. Although if I had a month to spend in the islands, I don't think that would dissuade me. Having to fly back and forth via JFK might, though. barfo
It'd be fun if you were unemployed or something and had some spare cash to burn. Just fly into a new city everyday, snap a pic, then fly out the next day.
Re: WOW, Unlimited Flights- $599 they have daily non-stops PDX to long beach, which is much less stressful airport than LAX to fly into if you're destination is the LA area (20 minutes from Disneyland without getting on a freeway!)
Re: WOW, Unlimited Flights- $599 I live 5 minutes from LAX so its the easiest. LAX is a breeze for me.
I did that once when I lived in DC and Southwest was new to BWI. They had a $19.99 each way special to Cleveland. So a bunch of us flew in Thursday afternoon and took the first flight out in the morning. When I got to work Friday morning, it was fun to answer the question, "So, what did you do last night?" with "I went drinking in Cleveland." People were convinced I was talking about Cleveland Park (a neighborhood in DC), so I had to reiterate, "No, Cleveland, Ohio."
Re: WOW, Unlimited Flights- $599 i was talking about PDX. jetblue doesn't even have a connection to get to or from LAX/PDX.
What a great deal. I might have to consider a mini vacation. I'd just have to figure out how to get from Boise to Portland. Here's a map with all their destinations: http://jetblue.com/wherewejet/ Looks like just about everything goes through LA, NY or Boston.
Some of those stop overs in LA or JFK seem pointless as fuck. But I do like the deal they offer, and if I lived in the USA, I would probably buy that pass.
It's basically the American version of the Eurail pass, but on a jet. It'd be pretty awesome if other carriers started competing with this plan.
