This is Cower's 13th season at the helm of the Steelers. Will it be his undoing or will he wear out 13 like Dan Marino?
Is there any word in the Pittsburgh papers about Cower needing to get the Steelers somewhere this year? It seems as if they are stuck in mediocrity, never incredible, but always a team to be afraid of.
Not really... but we all know that this is a win now league and another season or two below .500 could mean the end of Cowher's reign. He is signed through 2005 I believe.
NFLfan, the same cowher? who is that? the coach that led them to the SB or the close to the basement of the division? so far the odds are in the favor of cellar.

He's had only three losing seasons in his 12 with the Steelers. If that's not impressive in today's coaching standards, I don't know what is....
the last 2 years, the steelers have been average, i dont see why they would give him an extension when they are going to have to rebuild soon.
who knows why but the steelers always lose to a team they should beat every year.....it's normally the worst team too...???

The worst? OK. I'm no Steeler fan, but I'm ready to be educated. Fire away Sleeping101. Edumacate me.
