I'm a superhero (mostly Superman) fanatic, and this looks amazing to me. Opinions from more unbiased viewers?

I didn't think a thread solely for this trailer was neccesary, so feel free to share any cool movie trailers you might see.

The problem I have with Superman is that he's too powerful. The guy is basically unbeatable unless you happen to have a piece of his home planet, which somehow just keep popping up!

Unless they incorporate villains almost as powerful as him, such as other aliens, which are abundant in the comics and the many animated movies/series with Superman in them. They did it in Superman 2 (fantastic movie). There are even superheroes in the Justice League almost as powerful as Superman. The Martian Manhunter is a beast. Green Lantern can conjure anything he wants, Wonder Woman is Wonder Woman, and the Flash is faster than Superman. Then you've got Aquaman and Batman who, as far as the Justice League goes, suck. It wouldn't make sense if there weren't alien or superhuman villains in the DC universe. What I'm trying to say is that it's not Superman's fault, he just needs to be portrayed correctly in a live action film. That hasn't happened since 1980.

Here's a list of some of their powers, just to get the scope of how intense the DC universe is.

    Martian Manhunter powers:
    Superhuman strength
    Superhuman speed
    Superhuman senses
    Superhuman endurance
    Shapeshifting
    Invulnerability
    Vortex breath
    Telekinesis
    Invisibility
    Intangibility
    Longevity
    Healing factor
    Flight
    Telepathy
    Martian Vision
    Heat Generation

    Wonder Woman powers:
Superhuman strength, speed, agility, and endurance
    Flight (only after 1960)
    Superior hand-to-hand combatant
    Empathy
    Healing factor
    Resistance to Magic
Access to Magical Weaponry such as Lasso of Truth and indestructible bracelets

    Flash powers:
    Super speed (Speed Force)
    Self-molecular control
Time travel Cyclone/tornado/highwind generation, Steal Speed, Mass Punch, Universe Travel

World War Z has been a production disaster. Don't get your hopes up for that one.

Wonder if they'll go the route they went with Batman and have him deal with the fact he can't be in two places at once?

Now im not one who says a movie has to be like the book but in this movie they have just straight up thrown out the book and are only using the name and the zombie premise

Definitely looking forward to seeing The Hobbit and Django Unchained.

Also looking forward to Baja Dunes aka Elysium, the latest from Neill Blomkamp (District 9).

They did that in the first Superman movie with Gene Hackman... Supes just reversed time and rescued Lois anyway... like a boss.

Considering the new one is directed by Zack Snyder, we'll probably see Supe solving problems with slow motion this time around.

This just looks like a rendered version of "28 days Later", but the American version.

I'm not really a Tarantino fan. The feel of the movies are all the same and it gets boring.

Not me. I'm a big dialogue dork. Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are two of my favorite movies.

The only Tarantino film I haven't absolutely loved has been Death Proof. Still liked it.
