The time is here when we get to see if this team is for real or not. We have had some good debates on the board regarding just how legit the Rangers are. Well we are going to find out the next month. At Dallas, at Florida, Buffalo, at Anaheim, at LA, at SJ, Isles, at Boston, at CBJ, at Pitt, Ottawa, at Isles, Montreal 13 games. 9 road games. Outside of Buffalo and maybe Ottawa all tough games. Some very tough on the road against some of the better teams in the NHL. This next month will truly tell us how real we are. Are we winning 8 straight here because we are playing average teams? Are we a very good team? Is it a mix of both (this is what I happen to think). The next month will go a long way in settling the debate. Starts tomorrow at Dallas, which will not be an easy game. I would take a solid split in Dallas and Florida before coming home to beat Buffalo hopefully. We'll see and learn a lot the next month. Could let Sather know should he fully go all in at the trade DL as well. Interesting hockey coming up.
With Nash playing well i think they can score with the upper teams out west, but i wonder if the defense is still a question in some ways compared to last year.
