It's the most up-to-date Android phone currently on the market but Verizon is apparently not fully satisfied with the Galaxy Nexus.

The device, which is the first - and so far only - smartphone to have Google's Android 4.0 operating system, will be getting a software update in January.

Computerworld received an e-mail from Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney that asserted "there is no issue with the performance of the device."

However, she admitted there is a bit of confusion with the device and said the update "will adjust the signal strength indicator to more closely match other Verizon Wireless devices."

Apparently, for whatever reason, the Galaxy Nexus displays a signal strength indicator that is different than most other phones.
