Who would have thought Brandon Gorin wasnt going to reach that 3 million incentive, oh well. I forget the exact details of how that was worked out, but it did have something with Milloy being released, right Pats?
I honestly don't know what the incentive was and I hadn't even heard of Brandin Gorin till I read about their cap situation. I honestly don't even know who the guy is.
Smart teams with left over cap insert ridiculous incentive numbers in order to transfer cap room from season to season, the Eagles have been the best at it, but im not suprised to find out the Patriots are good at it too, why not, there good at everything else
I see I didn't understand how some pratice squad stiff could have a 3million incentive. Now I understand and yes that is a Krafty (couldn't help it) little move. Thanks for the compliment beef you sound me hating on the Yankees.
The new cap number was announced today...$80.5 million! That's 2 or 3 million more than teams thought they had...
Wow, this means the Eagles should be like 25 mil under the cap. Thats crazy, considering they have 19 out of 22 starters already under contract for next year. We should be able to get some really good players. I am getting excited already, and it's only February :-(
The Dolphins cut 3 players and restructured the contracts of 6 others yesterday gaining $18mil in cap space....which should put them about $7 mil under with Fiedlers $5.7 mil still to be cut(I hope)....that would bring them to $12 million under, plenty of room to sign just about anyone they want, or bring back Ogunleye....
