Pretty bummed about this one. I haven't had the chance to see it yet as I was on a cruise all week. I'll be watching this match sometime this week and posting my thoughts on it after. Heard it was pretty bad though.

According to Bert van Marwijk, the English are to blame for the tackle that put Stuart Holden out for six weeks.

In this article from Mirror Football, Bert claims that the English refs allow too much physicality, which results in broken legs.

An interesting, yet somewhat logical theory. I know a large part of the reason is the availability of the news, but I can think of many leg breaking tackles taking place in England (or perpetrated by England-based players), but not too many taking place in other countries.

HOUSTON – Stuart Holden would like to start coming home under better circumstances.

The former Houston Dynamo and current Bolton Wanderers midfielder is back in his hometown to start his rehab on his latest injury setback. While in town, Holden was one of the 30,018 that attended the Dynamo’s final regular-season game at Robertson Stadium last Sunday.
