I want USC to demolish them. ND has a lot of recruits there this weekend. And some that we are in on. I want those kids scared away from going to ND

Why would anyone want to go to ND?

other than tradition.. no idea. Just check out this list of visitors for this game though. LITERALLY seven of their visitors are 5* Players (according to SCOUT) including Shaq Thompson, Armstead, and Byron Marshall. Who are Oregon targets.

    I'm sold. Go USC.

ND is a big deal. Only team to have every home games exclusively televised. History. Tons of players in NFL. 82,000 stadium capacity. Gameday tradition. I would think if someone is heavily involved in the RCC, it would be a top choice.

I'm def not a ND fan, or Catholic, but taking in a home is pretty high on my bucket list.

Their recruiting and history don't suck though. They are out recruiting us.

All things being equal...we'd destroy them on the field but they still have had more success vs OOC ranked opponents - compared to Chip.

Yeah, that's true, but Notre Dame isn't the pull that it once was. I don't know many kids that are in awe of Notre Dame, which I think was very much the case historically. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I don't spend much time around Catholics enough, but their lack of success in over the last decade or so would sure seem to back me up. :dunno:

Agreed, a lot of instability within the program since Lou Holtz lead them to a NC. They had a really strong year in 2011 for recruiting and this year they are killing it - 4 5* and 6 4* and 6 others. I think they'll steady improve.

I'm just guessing, but I would think an education and degree from ND carries a bit more weight than many other schools.

If I'm worried about my degree, I go Stanford or Cal, not ND. There are a lot of schools that I think carry more academic weight than ND, but I understand your point. They would have more prestige than the Ducks or Alabama or LSU. I guess it just depends on how far you see your football career going. If I am aware that I probably won't be playing ball after college, I'd try to go Stanford or Cal. Hell, I'd try to go Harvard or Yale actually. Screw playing for a natty, I want that Harvard tie!

Hey Targus you know what I think it is? You mentioned a background in law enforcement and I have spent a lot of time working with and being friends with LEO and military guys. I know that ribbing and busting chops is a regular part of that community, but that kind of thing simply doesn't go over well on the internet. Humor and intentions don't translate well through text. I think you have good intentions, but sometimes it doesn't translate well. :dunno:
