USC still waiting on NCAA's ruling

    Nine weeks have passed since USC made its case for reduced sanctions in an NCAA appeal, but Trojans athletic director Pat Haden has no expectations for when the decision could arrive.

    The timetable for when the Trojans could hear back from the NCAA infraction appeals committee is still entirely up in the air, Haden wrote Tuesday in an email to boosters obtained by ESPNLosAngeles.com.

    "Everybody is anxious and I get asked about it every day," Haden wrote. "I wake up wondering, 'Hey, is this going to be the day?' We could hear at any moment or it could happen a month from now. I do not think the delay is necessarily a good thing or a bad thing.
