    Wow, it was only a month or so ago when he was in consideration for jobs like Arizona and Memphis....he fell fast.

    It's too bad because he actually did a great job of coaching for USC. It just seems like an odd amount to be busted over and hard to belive $1K would be the difference maker for OJ Mayo signing with USC. There has to be more to this.

    Yeah, it does seem weird that 1k would persuade him. It wasn't even to Mayo, but maybe it was some kind of arranged product deals for when he got out of college. Kinda too lazy to do the research to back it up, but what kind of sponsorship deals did Mayo get last year when he came into the NBA? Did he possibly have some kind of agreement with w/e supplies USC with their gear, or he had to pick a school that used their gear?
