Apparently they are NOT willing to give Boozer away for just cap, and want to get rotation players. I really think that Utah really wants Beasley if he's traded to Miami, which is reasonable IMO.
Do you think Utah actually holds on to him the whole year, or that a team will cave in to Utah's demands?
Well Utah have turned down some pretty good offers for Kirilenko through the years despite his atrocious contract, so I could see Utah waiting until the trade deadline to pull a trigger on a deal.
I'm pondering whether I would trade Scola for Boozer if I was Houston. I guess I would, but it isn't a definite yes.
Trading Boozer is going to be difficult because you risk losing him if he doesn't agree to an extension. The team acquiring him will own his Bird Rights, but I wouldn't give up much unless I was guaranteed he'd sign a reasonable extension. Miami appears to be the front-runner, but everything seems to be contingent on Wade agreeing to a long term extension. Guys like Wade & LeBron want their franchises to surround them with talent, but they themselves aren't willing to commit to re-signing.
