<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Jazz currently own five selections in the June 28 NBA Draft.
Two come in the first round. The exact position of one of those will be determined in Tuesday's draft lottery and could fall anywhere from No. 1 overall to No. 7. The other is No. 27 and originally belonged to Dallas before the Jazz acquired it in a draft-night swap that sent 2004 first-round pick Pavel Podkolzin to the Mavericks.
Three others fall in the second round, at Nos. 34, 51 and 60 overall.
But don't necessarily expect the Jazz to use all five on picks that will be in training camp come October.
"That's not likely," said Kevin O'Connor, the Jazz's basketball operations senior vice president.
Instead, the Jazz could trade away one or more of their picks. Another option is to draft an international player who is not brought over right away, much like what happened with forward Andrei Kirilenko after he was drafted in 1999.
"Those are some of the things we are going to consider," O'Connor said.</div>

I think the Jazz should be able to deal one or two of their second round picks. A team like Cleveland or Philly do not have any draft picks in a very deep draft and might be willing to trade future considerations or something else for one of those picks. The Jazz could also look to move up from the 27th spot by packaging picks.

The Jazz should try to make a trade. They have already expressed interest in bringing back Keith McLeod and Raja Bell. As well as signing a veteran. Five rookies is just too many for the Jazz. If the Jazz package picks and possibly players in a trade, they could either move up in the draft or trade for a player that will make an immediate impact, likely a PG.
