<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Brandon Roy was shooting baskets alone in a practice gym at Washington yesterday afternoon. He was there to get a fix of his basketball Jones, even though he also is trying to rest his knee now that the season is over.

He told a visitor that's why he was by himself ? so he wouldn't go hard.

But he also is using the alone time to figure out what he does next ? stay at UW for his senior season or turn pro?

Roy said yesterday he hopes to make up his mind by the end of the weekend and make an announcement sometime next week.

"It's a lot tougher decision than I thought," he said.

Roy had said much of the season that he wanted to first attend the Chicago pre-draft camp in early June, then make a decision.

But after UW lost to Louisville last week, Roy said he didn't think it would be fair to leave the UW players and coaches hanging for that long.

Roy indicated yesterday, however, that all options ? staying, leaving for good, or deciding to go to Chicago and see what happens ? are still open.

"That's all the stuff I'm trying to figure out," he said.

Roy met with UW coach Lorenzo Romar on Wednesday before Romar left for the Final Four. </div> Source
