<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Dallas Mavericks try to extend their winning streak over the Golden State Warriors to 19 games Tuesday when the teams meet at American Airlines Arena. The Mavericks have won 18 consecutive meetings with the Warriors since a 91-90 setback in Dallas on April 10, 1999. They have won nine consecutive home games against Golden State. Dallas posted a 95-87 victory over Golden State in the first meeting this season on Oct. 29. The teams made an eight-player trade in August, with Antawn Jamison going to the Mavericks and Nick Van Exel moving to the Warriors. The Mavericks have dropped two of their last three games following a three-game winning streak, including a 108-94 road loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday. Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points to lead the Mavericks but had little help as Michael Finley and Steve Nash combined for just 17 points on 7-of-21 shooting, including 1-of-7 from 3-point range. Dallas did not record its 14th loss last season until Feb. 27. The Mavericks have won their last three home games and are 15-2 at American Airlines Center -- tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the second-best home record in the NBA. The struggling Warriors fell a season-low five games under .500 with an 83-65 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday. Mike Dunleavy scored 13 points to lead Golden State, which has lost a season-high six consecutive games, including the first five of a six-game road trip. Van Exel, Troy Murphy and Jason Richardson scored 10 points apiece for the Warriors, who shot just 33 percent (25-of-75) en route to the second-lowest scoring game in franchise history. They scored 64 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 30, 1996. Golden State has lost seven consecutive games away from home to fall to 4-13 on the road this season. </div> http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/antawn_jamison.jpg"> ======================== [b]Rudeezy The Mavs take this one.
