His team stinks. His team's coach stinks. This season stinks. Are you in? "You can treat last night's loss as business as usual. It happens in the NBA," Van Gundy said. "Or you can treat it like Armageddon. My world is crumbling because I was part of a disastrous meltdown. "I'm so sick of losing I can't stand it. I mean, it's just painful." </div> <font size="-2"><font color="red">I edited your post. Next time you post an article, just quote the first few paragraphs and link to the article. What a depressing article, yet so true imo.. Man, I feel like we should totally revamp the team except for Tmac and Yao. New coach, new casts, everything. But even then, when I watch tmac and Yao play, I don't sense the friendship, the team-ness, the camraderie (sp?) between them two. Francis was even more connected to Yao than Tmac.... I don't know, maybe Sura will be the answer to all this mess
Yeah, we keep going on how our team just has to find its chemistry but take a look at the Magic. Stevie and Grant Hill have become like bread and butter and Dwight Howard compliments them so well. Before he got injured, Cuttino was doing well also.
LoL calm down guys the season is only just started lets wait till the All-Star break before we start talking about what needs to be changed.
It is just still 9 games into the season but cmon. Anytime you give up a big lead and let the ATLANTA HAWKS go on a 14-0 to win. Cmon that is acceptable. I hope they can learn from this.
I think rockets still have a lot of problems, and need to address them quickly. They need some interior toughness, and interior rebounding. Jackson isn't as good as last year, Taylor underpreforming as a starter, and Howard is terrible as a bench player, they have no quality point guard. Surprisingly, with the loss of Cato, our defense is still very good. However, the turnovers and poor rebounding is giving the opponents so many extra posessions. Rockets need to trade Howard or Taylor away immediately, for a tough defensive PF/C. Nachbar has to step up to hopefully take Jackson's place. Ward and Bowen need to learn to shoot.

However, he does grab alot of rebounds for the team and puts up pretty nice stats on most given nights so you can't say he wasn't as good as last year. Its still a few games in, so the stats may be obscured just a tad as well. If there is any decrease in the game that he brings to the court, he can't blame it on him. He's getting older but still knows what his job on the court is, finding open 3's and poppin them, or passing to Yao who might have the look inside. As for the decision of starting Taylor over Howard, its probably because they want to trade him and are showcasing his talent as a starter, but I still think Howard over Taylor was the better choice. Juwan is a more of a post up player and is a slower player than Taylor, who would really be better on the bench since he adds an up tempo speed to the game when Yao is off the court. The point guard situation is definitely a problem, and Lue is horrible. On some nights, Ward is pretty impressive with those back to back threes in that one game. However, I think we should wait a while on this since Bob Sura, a quality guard is recovering from his injury and we still don't know how well he will do in this system, if he flourishes, what then? The turnovers are definitely because of chemistry, players simply don't know each other since this is an entirely new team. Have patience, it needs to develop as it did with the T-Wolves a few seasons ago. Don't break up the team just yet, it will disrupt the whole process and keep our team away from great seasons together.

Like I've said, the Rockets' two main issues are chemistry (or lack thereof) and rebounding...they have the assets to be a good-great rebounding squad (Yao, Howard, Mutombo), what they really need to work on is chemistry, which can only be cured with time and more games playing together...
