An MRI performed Monday at Texas Sports Medicine confirmed a second-degree lateral sprain of his left ankle, the Mavericks announced.

Van Horn will be sidelined at least two more weeks. He suffered the injury in Game 3 while battling Dikembe Mutombo for a second-quarter rebound.

Van Horn, who was acquired from Milwaukee on Feb. 24, averaged 12.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 29 games with the Mavericks.

"The way that ankle blew up after the game, it was pretty much what we expected," coach Avery Johnson said. </div>

The Mavs have found a way to win without Van Horn. Keith needs to get as much rest as he can in case the Mavs get to the second round.
