According to Sir Alex Gofuckyourself, Arsenal are being difficult when it comes to negotiations for star striker Robin van Persie--who has reportedly rejected overtures from Juventus and Manchester City to join United. Arsenal have upped their sticker price on van Persie now that he has backed United into a corner, reportedly demanding £25m from the Reds (who have come back with a £15m offer, per reports). The offer from Juventus, one which Arsenal presumably would've taken had van Persie been interested (rather than sell him to a rival and pay for it for the next few seasons), was probably half that amount or less, with the offer from City being considerably more. I'm extremely unhappy over this whole situation but I'll say one thing--at least it isn't ******ham.
