    Well, quite the argument, isn't it? These are the kind of misconceptions we're working against in trying to get this sport the attention it deserves.

    I think it's a silly thing to worry about. I'll admit Vancouver has seen a major rise in gang activity this year (I think I remember a period where it seemed like there was a shooting/stabbing everyday) but it's not like the UFC coming to town will suddenly bring even more gangster to the province, BC bud already does that well enough.

    I'd also like to add that Montreal has its share of gang problems and they didn't seem to have a major problem with the UFC going there twice.

    Crime rates are down in Canada as well.
